1Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the JZunto website (https://jzunto.app), registering an account via one-time password (OTP), or utilizing any study tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any portion of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the platform.

2Platform Purpose & Academic Scope

JZunto is engineered exclusively as a semester-long academic preparation assistant for the 2-Year SPPU MCA program under Pattern 2024 (NEP 2020 framework). Platform features are designed to:

• Assist students in organizing curriculum units and subtopics systematically.
• Provide empirical frequency insights derived from publicly available past-year question (PYQ) patterns.
• Enable personal storage and reference indexing of lecture slides and study notes.
• Generate 50-mark timed mock practice exams (150-minute duration, 5 main questions) modeled around university examination contracts.

3Authentication & Account Responsibility

Accounts on JZunto use passwordless verification via 6-digit One-Time Passwords (OTP):

• You agree to provide accurate, valid contact details (email or mobile phone number) owned and controlled by you.
• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of verification codes delivered to your device.
• You agree not to share active sessions, impersonate other students, or create unauthorized automated accounts.
• System access is subject to automated rate limits (maximum 3 OTP send attempts per 10 minutes, 60-second cooldown, 5 verification attempts per 10 minutes).

4User-Uploaded Content & Intellectual Property

Students may upload academic lecture notes, slides, and reference summaries into their personal study vault:

• Ownership: You retain full copyright and ownership of the original materials you upload. By uploading, you grant JZunto a limited, non-exclusive license solely to process, chunk, embed, and display the files within your private workspace.
• Format & Size Restrictions: Uploads are limited to standard academic documents (PDF, PPT, PPTX, DOC, DOCX) up to 5 MB per file, with a maximum of 15 documents per student account.
• Subject Relevance Guardrail: Uploaded materials are subjected to automated academic relevance validation. Files that contain malicious code, executable payloads, or material unrelated to the selected syllabus subject will be rejected.
• No Infringing Content: You warrant that your uploaded study materials do not violate third-party copyrights, university honor codes, or institutional confidentiality agreements.

5Prohibited Activities & Fair Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Attempting to bypass or disrupt Redis-backed rate limiters (e.g., automated OTP blasting, script-driven document uploads, or bulk paper generation requests).
• Scraping, crawling, or extracting platform question pools, curriculum mappings, or blueprints using automated scrapers or bots without written consent.
• Uploading malware, corrupted files, deceptive file formats (e.g., executables masked with document extensions), or defamatory content.
• Reverse-engineering the Master Pool selection algorithm, evaluation scoring rubrics, or API endpoints.

6Service Availability & Development Status

JZunto is currently in active product development. While we strive for continuous platform stability:

• The service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
• Features, exam contracts, blueprints, and curriculum models may be updated or refined to reflect revised university circulars.
• We reserve the right to temporarily suspend access for scheduled maintenance, database upgrades, or security updates.

7Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, JZunto, its developers, contributors, and operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:

• Academic examination outcomes, grades, rank shifts, or evaluation differences by university examiners.
• Temporary inability to access the platform during pre-exam peak hours.
• Loss of uploaded study materials (students are advised to maintain personal backups of their academic notes).
